I was stood looking at the Deansgate in Manchester and the Hilton Hotel, looking at the contrast between old and modern, the glass and the brickwork, while cars were driving past.
The man stood outside the pub is inspired by Lowry, but with a modern twist, the vape.
Unfortunately since I painted this picture the pub has closed down.
