One day I was walking around Manchester looking at the sights in and around Castlefield area of Manchester.

When I was shocked to see a statue of large bee sitting in the middle of a beautiful wild flowers garden in the Upper Yard of the Museum of Science. The flowers were wild all beautiful. I decided then I had to paint the bee. Why? Because behind the garden was the Museum of Science. There was my bee was sitting there.. So proud of Victorian Times.

That I reminded me of my “Victorian Bee" possibly even from the same family! There were people queued up past the bee to go into the welcome area of the museum.
