This painting is drawn from a photograph. I took on a New Year's Day walk around Castlefield in Manchester.
I used pointillism technique with watercolour for this painting. This painting shows four inter-connecting bridges in Castlefield. There is a lot of graffiti about LGBT around here and two people kissing sprayed onto the bridge.
The two people are kissing on the bridge but they're hidden and it seemed quite secret. The structure of the bridge itself looks like it is made up from the British flag which I like the idea of.
